The Story
Back in 202x, some kid bought a 3D printer and began his plot of vengeance.
Determined to fight powers that be, he learned the ways of legendary plasticsmiths such as CtrlPew and PSR.
He cloaked himself with the Nodes of Onion and endured the turbulent waters of the Odd Sea, returning only with much plunder.
Tediously, stubbornly, he manifested one 3D squirting after another. Some manicures were gentle; others became moments of wrath.
Calling upon aid from the alliances of Aves, Hoffman Tactical and JSD Supply, one relic was completed... others soon followed.
One evening, the crafting table saw something a little too see-through: a special roll of transparent PLA. It was surely an odd color choice, but our crafter had no room left for sensibility among his madness and perversion.
Hours of GCode enchantment later, a new creature was spawned. A transparent Glock, still warm, lay upon the blackened glass.
In a fit of Divine Inspiration and Almighty compulsion, he subjected his newborn to horrifying wrappings of packing tape and Walmart LEDs. Solder was wrestled and conductors were contorted into an abominable piece that dared to be called a wire harness. Power was applied - and it was done. Something had awakened. A Revelation lay upon a common carpet floor.
Present and Future
Many moons have passed since that first enlightenment.
Since then, the same power of illumination has found its way to other hosts - pistols, rifles, wearables - and it continues to spread.
It quietly pulses its way against darkness with undimmed vibrance and untarnished luster.
It makes its presence known and gives sight to those who are otherwise blind.
To those willing to wield it, it gives the courage to overcome the darkness and the monsters who hide in it.
